Both my 5 yr old son and I were underwhelmed with the quality of this book. Yes, there were some interesting facts, but multiple typos and every paragraph started with "did you know..." which made for an awkward read aloud. Yes, there are color pictures, but many of them are of the preserved specimen of the sea creature so I heard "Mom that looks more like beef jerky than an angler fish!". Overall, the book was not worth the price, and read more like a B+ middle school science project than a professional children's marine biology book.
